Dear STN EOE,
At around 4K revs, I have a serious prob with my bike. Specifically, there are flashing blue lights in both mirrors.
When I ramp it up to 6K, they disappear.
Help, please

You probably just don't have the right mirrors. You shouldn't be seeing anything in them except your shoulder or elbow.
What kind of mirror bearings do you have, spavined or reticulated?

It is just a simple phenominon of nature called "the doppler effect".
As you approach warp speeds, as Zarley may confirm, light from behind you doppler shifts towards the red as wavelegnths elongate. What you are percieving as blue flashes are actually x-rays from distant pulsars. As you further accelerate, they drop past red appearing to dissappear from sight.
I hope this explanation help.
