Actually no. I was going for my Aunt's house and my tire wasn't up to the challenge. So I headed home. And you know how it is. Why get a room when you're only a few more hours from home Smile

It's all a matter of....

1.  How often you ride.

2.  How far you ride.

3.  How well you take care of your ride.

yeah, i know. really miss the days of being single. riding every day and putting on whatever i have time for until the weekend hit, then seriously hit the roads....

now, i'm lucky to go on a ride more than 100 miles, once a month. but i'm still happy!!!!!!!!

Nice Sodapop...Racking up the miles is a beautiful thing. A couple of years ago I picked up a 1990 PC800 with 6k on it and just hit 25k...It had been sitting a while so i had to rebuild the carbs, changed all fluids and replace the tires and brakes. Every once in a while I have to remind myself that it is 20+ yrs old and wonder if something is about to go...driving in traffic i will get a smell of anti-freeze or burnt oil and the occasional truck brakes and soon realize it not my bike, so far it has been solid...

This was when my BMW R100 turned 100,000 miles. It still has the original 85 mph speedometer so I know it tops the ton at 6200 rpm which is how I turned 100K on her.

When mine grenaded she had 141k on the clock. Replace that rear shock and put some Progressive springs in the forks and let her go!!!

And if you hear a paint can rattle on cold startup get a new cam chain tensioner in her QUICK!

I've officially had the ST 1 year and sitting at 6k.....Time to take some vacation!

OEM or that manual one?? Just curious. Thanks. No issues sofar. At all, other than a shot front wheel bearing which is common from my understanding.
Thought I had a J-Box issue but it was worn/shorting farkle wiring draining my battery.
