***SOLD***
2005 Triumph Sprint ST 1050
Miles: 16,600

Location: Crystal Lake, Illinois

SALE NOW INCLUDES TOURMASTER SOFT SADDLE BAGS (MORE SPORTY THAN THE FACTORY HARD BAGS) AND A TRIUMPH MECHANIC'S SERVICE MANUAL. IT PROVIDES STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAINTAINING AND REPAIRING YOUR NEW BIKE. THESE COMBINED ARE OVER $500 AND ARE NOW INCLUDED!

I am the second owner of this beautiful machine. The first owner worked at a Triumph dealership as a master mechanic in Nebraska and never titled the bike, running on dealer plates. He obviously meticulously maintained the bike and I have carried on where he left off. I just purchased the bike in April of 2012 and have put on about 600 miles. I love the bike but am in need of a bike for track duty. I was hoping this would do both, but I am looking for a smaller bike I can use as a dedicated track bike. This is the ONLY reason I'm selling.

I was searching for a bike the Fiancee and I could ride for longer duration in a little more comfort than my previous D675 offered. Not wanting to surrender the sport side of riding, a sport touring was the only bike I considered. Being an extremely loyal Triumph fan and enthusiast, there was only one bike I wanted...The Sprint ST 1050. I intentionally sought out a 2005 since that was the first production year with the 1050 motor and Triumph geared that year more torwards the sport side, including a more aggressive riding position than the years to come. The Sprint is still extremely sporty but also remains far more comortable for longer rides.

If you are looking for a sport-touring bike that has its emphasis on sport, look no further. The unique triple motor coupled with superb handling makes this bike both interesting and fun. Do a little research on this Sprint ST 1050 and allow the reviews to speak for the attributes of this sport bike with distance in mind. The sound of the three cylinder engine is intoxicating.

On June 7, 2012 I replaced the clutch cable and lubed the throttle cable. The bike is running better than new and is purely addictive!

I don't have the hard cases, BUT, I do have very nice TourMaster saddlebags that I will throw into the deal. I will get pics up soon. They have a lower profile and look more sporty.

I also have a Triumph mechanic's full maintenance guide that will be included in the sale. It has everything you need, with step-by-step directions, to maintain and fix your Sprint ST 1050.

I replaced the clutch cable and had the throttle cable lubed. I then proceeded to ride her for a two hours with a stupid grin on my face. She's a whole new bike. Come and get her before I change my mind!
