if you have a dealer connection the Parts Unlimited area inside turn ?? is really nice. otherwise I didn't really find a good place?? the atmosphere is great, but viewing kinda sucks IMO. Maybe I was just ruined by the old WSB days at BIR? We checkied out about every place and settled for the stands at the last corner coming onto the straight, you could see quite a bit and watch the rest on the big screen. between races there is still more access to riders than I thought, shook nicky's hand and was within a few feet of several others Smile

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

Yep, IMO that is the best spot......right at the beginning of the front straight, UNDER the canopy and in the shade!

The place seats 400,000, on race day you may get 90,000. Buy cheap general admission and move around sitting in different places, especially on Friday and Saturday.
For grand stand seating on race day I agree with above suggestions, section H.

I was at the 1st one in '08 (actually rode out via some backroads thru WVa, Oh, a wee bit of Kent.)  Anyway, I had GA tix, but a guy that we were w/ snuck us to his seats - Under cover of roof @ B section.  There is a video screen across from there, plus U see them braking for Turn 1.  It was good for us as Hurricane Ike was whipping thru @ the time Crazy

Have Fun

Here's what the winds did to da special parking for Duc's - I  guess they don't like wind & water Bigsmile

I rode the multi out in 08...good thing I wasn't parked with those other ducks!

here is the map of the track for that first event...we sat in the small stands at T7

very close to the track and had a huge TV right in front of us.

On Friday we tried to sneak around and watch practice in different sections, they wouldn't let us in most of them.  We did manage to sneak into H and sat at the very top,  those were great seats you can see from T10 to T16....than you can hear them rip down front straight....it was awesome.  I will sit there when I return

Saturday was BLAZING Hot & Humid - we sat in Buell tent in the infield & drank the free water during qualifying.  Buell peeps were great - RIP Buell.

But I found some friends to help me get HOTTER (Note to OSJ - don't bring sand to the beach)
