Harley Davidson Sportster 883/1200 Iron - No detail in this custom build have been overlooked. It was purchased new in March of 2009, it spent the next year in the hands of custom artist and lead technician Richard from Destination Harley. He was given carte blanche to build the bike as if it were his! Lots of collaboration went on with the owner of the bike over the 2 year build. Many details required special fabrication and creativity. This was not a built from a catalog bike by any means!  Every component used was carefully scrutinized and modified if needed. Small details like exhaust system, side stand placement and rear set mounts were all one off creations. Over $30,000 spent on top of the original purchase price of the bike!

SUB priced at $24,800.00 OBO  
07/07 update; at the owners request the price has been reduced to $20500.00!  He wants it to go to a new home.

that's what I thought before I saw it!!  It is stunning in person for sure, it rides and tips into the corners like no Sportster I had ever ridden.   It just works like it should!
The owner had a huge compliment paid to his bike when it was on display at the Seattle mc show back in Dec..  Here's the quote from the bikes owner..

Somewhere, is a picture of Keith Wandell, Harley's CEO, sitting one this bike. Richard told me that Wendell asked Matt Levatich COO why Harley didn't have a bike like this.

I think that bike is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous. If I had the spare moohlah, I would buy it in a heartbeat....
