Hey folks - looking for a few donated/borrowed rims with tires if anyone has anything laying around. They will be used for a tire plugging demo at the IBA national here in Denver, so tire condition is not so important. If you can spare one or two, let me know - and thanks in advance

I have four wheels (two front, two rear) awaiting sale and one front tire (older but in reasonable condition). I'd give the tire but would lend the wheel.

Thanks Jim, one is a start and it'll be appreciated
And yeah, loaner on the rim is fine, will only need it for a day really. I will PM you to figure out when and where I can pick it up.

We should hook up sometime soon anyway, have a few beers, and teach me the in and outs of airhead ownership
. I'm open this weekend (hint hint).

Saturday, I'm on trail cleanup just south of Idaho Springs for a club adopted trail. As my brother is in Highlands Ranch I will likely be stopping to see them (his oldest might go on the trail event) and could drop the wheel/tire off. If it'd be easier for you I could leave them out on my porch this weekend and toss you an address (or maybe leave them at his place). You did say time is not critical on this, sure, just toss'n some options.
My Sunday is iffy too as I might spend the weekend in Highlands.

Yeah, that works fine for me - if you can just leave them on the porch, I can grab them Saturday. I replied to your PM as well in case you did not see it.

I'm not heading to Highlands this weekend and am only going to Idaho Springs Sat AM for the trail cleanup then back to FoCo Sat aft / eve.
Any thoughts of getting together Sunday for lunch with some other STN locals?
Joe's (bikerfish1100) in Loveland, Carl's (DM-GSXR) in Longmont, I see a new member, Will (PastaBurner) in Fort Collins. I'd be available Sunday if you wish to stir a pot and see if a few wish to get together either here or perhaps in Loveland to split some distance with Carl if he wishes to join.
The wheel and tire are on the back porch, I'll PM directions.

Yeah, I'd be up for a meetup and lunch on Sunday. Joe is spending the weekend with his "gal", so he probably can't make it. But yeah, I'm always up for a ride. And splitting the distance would be better for me. So let's come up with something - and I see mike (retro) browsing as well - he's local.

Ah cool, so hopefully we can put something together. I'm thinking Lyons would be a good meetup point - a little more than halfway for me, and closer for you guys up north. I just need a bit of time to make it up there in the AM. And I'll take the 4 year old bike instead of the 40 year old one
.
So, to speed up the process, does Lyons sound good for Sat for all? 10 AM would be good for me. Barking Dog Cafe? I need to get my St. Vrain on.

Awesome - I'm in. Look forward to meeting you
Since you're the hostess, what time is good for you? And meet in Lyons, or your place?

excellent.
if we meet in Lyons, we can take the direct route up to Sue's via 36, about 10 minutes.
better would be head up the South Saint on 7, go over the top into EP, then back down 36 to Pinewood. about 40 mins.
of course, whatever brews you guys bring will have to sit and settle after all that shaking and stirring.....

(joe here) closer to 10, even 10:30 would be good.
note- Scandinavian Fest in EP this weekend, so a bit more crowded than usual. however, we should be able to avoid all of it on the loop we'll be doing.
came thru Glen Haven Rd just a bit ago; looks like a fire has broken out a bit west of EP, maybe in RMNP itself. seeing as how we have had no storms of late, its probably human causatin. if so..... freaking idiots. Capital Punishment?

I contemplating joining you guys for meeting at Barking Dog and the ride to Sue's.
BUT...
I'm rusty and slow as I haven't been on the bike much very much this year. Slow as in I do the posted suggested speed on the yellow signs. MacGyver and I have Senas so he can update everyone to my ETA at a stop.
