Yup, it's that time of the year.  An annual trek to the north for a traditional Polish lunch.

1PM on Saturday, July 14th.  I have no excuses to use anymore.   Razz New tires on the bike, no work schedule, nada.

www.legsinn.com

Be there!   Bigok

(I'll probably ride up Friday and camp at CycleMoore somewhere.)

G, My wife and I are really looking forward to next weekends ride, its been awhile since we have taken a bike trip together. She bought me this bike for my birthday this past May and we have had a blast making it our own. So needless to say you can count us in for Friday night and eating at the Leggs Inn will be a first for us. We've been by there many times and have even eaten at the cafe just to the south so this will make our trip to Cross Village complete!

I'm leaving Thursday morning. Don't want to be late you know.

I'll be riding north through Wisconsin to Manistique Mi. I got a room for Thursday and Friday. Friday I'll be touring the east side of the UP. I'll be going to Big Springs, Pictured Rocks, Of coarse H58, (i have plenty of tire plugs just in case) Tahquamenon falls, White fish point, And if i have enough time the Soo Locks, and back to Manistique.

Saturday I'll take a flower sifting ride on US2 along the lake. With a stop at Rock Cut bridge and just for the hell of it, The Mystery Spot. Then Cross the mighty Mac and stop in Mackinaw city. Then to Cross Village for some fine Polish food.

For a nice bit of curvies, take the Cut River by pass road. They black topped it when the bridge was rebuilt a couple of years ago. It's only about 3/4 mile east of the bridge if you miss it coming from the west.

Be safe

It was good meeting those who attended. I'll be looking forward to the next RTE event, hopefully in the center of the state. I'd like to get a few more miles in than the 50 I did this time for the round trip.

Ed and I just got back about 1/2 hour ago. 1200 mile 3 day weekend for us. It was good to meet everyone, and we had fun on H58, North Lake Shore Drive and South Lake Shore Drive from Legs Inn to Harbor Springs. The heavens opened up on us yesterday about 100 miles from our destination so we were both pretty well soaked.

Gotta recuperate for a while until I can have that much fun again.

Well my wife and I sure are glad we got to meet everyone what a great day and many thanks to G for the accommodation Friday night. Saturday night we ended up in Hilman at Thunder Bay resort a very nice place more like a condo than a motel room and only $70 bucks for the night. Looking forward to the next time. Now I need to get that picture tag cause I found some really great tags on our way home!
