2013 Harley 500cc model. Blast resurrected, or something different?

A recent story from Visordown -
link
- suggests that Harley may resurrect the Buell Blast in order to again offer a learner/training bike.
Some googling indicated that some dealers are claiming a 2013 500cc Harley model will be out soon, but whether it will be a Blast is yet to be determined. It is thought that maybe the 500cc model will be designed to appeal more to the Harley crowd. It is possible that this could be a model aimed for a global market instead of just being a trainer.

It's always good to see a manufacturer branch out of their comfort zone . . . . .
It would also be interesting to watch THIS HD effort to do so . . . . I think a non-traditional HD would have a better chance of success overseas than in the US, where their marketing has been, perhaps, a little TOO successful.

I still think that crushed Blast was a finger to all the loyal Blast owners still out there. It was calling them out.

Whatever it is, it is bound to fail. Harley has trained their customers to believe that anything under 1000cc is a "girls bike".
It might be a rebadged Chinese dirt bike. Maybe a 450 single, to prove Prubert's stripper tease technically accurate.

Yup, its too bad their marketing is so good at convincing people of a lie.
It would be fun to take a "little girly" bike, like a Ninja 250, or CBR 250, and absolutely smoke a bunch of Harleys on some mildly twisty back road.
