Hello, Region 3!

I will be traveling to Denver next month for a conference at the Sheraton downtown. I am looking for recommendations of places to visit (museums, attractions, shops) and dine within walking distance or a short taxi ride of my hotel, as I've opted not to get a rental car. I know about the 16th Street Mall, but that's about it.

I've got a copy of the Denver Visitor's Guide, but I'd appreciate any/all suggestions and recommendations from locals.

Thanks!
Beth

If your into Museums, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science has some good stuff.

And the Art museum is close as well.

Not super compared to MoMa etc, but decent.
