I have to work the 24th, and plan on leaving the 25th, and splitting the trip down into a couple of days, maybe visit my sister in Red Deer, or something different if the opportunity presents itself.

Would be agreeable to hooking up for the ride to Bubba's with some Alberta STn'ers if possible???

Might be going this way, but open to possibilities. I've been the southern route through the Crowsnest pass before also.

Not opposed to going through Calgary if needed.

I'm planning to attend, haven't really picked a route. Maybe we should talk Veefer, if you don't mind travelling with old , slow guys.

Hell, I AM an old, slow guy!  Lol

Bowden is real close to Red Deer also, would work well.

I'll know better when the time gets a bit closer, may leave either the 25th or 26th, not sure yet.

She's ~800 Km from Red Deer to Castlegar Via Revelstoke, Bubba Z said arrivals anytime after 3:30.

PM me if you wanna hash out any more details. I could swing by and meet you in Bowden and go from there, or, even better, we could meet at Rotten Monkey House for breakfast.

I know a great place almost halfway to have lunch. Truffle Pigs Bistro in Field BC. 361 Km from Red Deer.  Thumbsup

OHHHH   sure,    the year I don't go and we get a frickn parade together.

BTW,  my favorite route is Rocky Mtn House to Revelstoke to Nakusp.

Wait!!!!    then there's via Longview, Crowsnest, into Eureka Montana, along  the N side of Koocanusa, Salmo and Bubba's

I'd opt for spending the night in Eureka to take advantage the duty free, cheap camping/accomodations , food and beer.

I'll be there next year,  I swear.

I'll post up exact time/place to meet in Rocky, when I get a better idea of when exactly that will be. Maybe Monday that week. West to revelstoke then south.

I'd be planning to travel on the 26th, stop somewhere for the night (Revelstoke maybe) and get into Castlegar early afternoon on the 27th.

I assure you ,   had I been in on the planning, we'd have gone in Sept. and not missed the BBBQ.

It is absolutely my favorite STN event.

You'll be missed. I had a great time riding with you last year at the national and the BBBQ. Have a great time in Europe, and hope we can shred up some roads together again before too long.

Okee day. As planned, I will be leaving whitecourt Thursday and headed for Red Deer, and staying overnight.
Leaving Red Deer early Friday morning for castlegar via rocky mountain house, lake louise, and revelstoke.

If anyone wants to meet up somewhere for the ride/eats along the way, shoot me a text, and ill check my phone whenever I stop for a bit.

Sputnik and Mrs Sputnik are most likely attending (assuming no elder care issues crop up).
