Hello all,

My brother and I want to meet up in Denver and do a 4-5 day trip in the mountains.  He is going to ride his V-strom in from Lincoln, NE and I am going to fly from Sarasota, Florida to Denver and rent a bike.  Any suggestions on good rental places.  I have a Triumph Sprint ST here at home...so I'd like to find something more sport/touring oriented instead of a Harley.  Any help would be appreciated.

Tourbikes - I rented from them in 2004 for my trip to the ST.N National and can thoroughly recommend them. Family business, very helpful people and good choice of well maintained bikes, not a Harley in sight

+1 - just reserve early, I think they are getting pretty popular.

I rented from the Harley affiliated rental shop in Denver perhaps three years back. I am satisfied but they are not totally on my recommend list.

They had new leather jackets to use/rent (good) and were of the "leather and studs" style (meh). Helmet selection - mediocre to poor if you wanted a full face (bummer). Wide selection for 1/2 helmets though (meh). Pre-Ride inspection was military thorough while post ride inspection was "it rolled up running - you're good".
