I didn't realize that got in the shot. Years ago my brother, the dentist, had a bunch of rubber mold making stuff that was expired. So, being the curious types we are, we wondered what what happen if we made a mold of my face. I had a straw in one nostril and we covered my face with the rubber mold-making stuff, pulled it off, and filled it with the stuff he uses to make molds of teeth (also expired). A couple students a few years ago added some makeup:

I had a '79 that got as far as this, but no farther. Eventually I just sold it all for practically nothing.
I sure wouldn't mind having it to ride every so often now.

The parts are back from the powder coater:
Time to place an order for some parts, polish the spokes and rims (
) and start reassembly!

I got distracted by this:
A young couple from church is getting in to the vintage bike scene with not much experience. They picked it up and never could get it running right. It's a CB350E model. The PO pulled the stock airboxes and put on pods without rejetting, which caused the airflow to not be smooth (cheap pods) and too much. The thing ran horrible, plus the mixture seemed to be off. I went through the carbs, put the new airboxes back on, replaced a leaking copper float, replaced a missing carb plug, dialed her in, and she runs like a top now.
Now back to mine.
