My buddy has one of these- maybe a 2011. Need to borrow it for a week. Let's see if he'll let me...
Feels more powerful than a K1300S? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

I dunno. My buddy had a K1300S and that thing was a bloody rocketship when I rode it. The Mutley isn't exactly slow, but I'm not sure I'd go that far.

Congrats on the Ducati.
you can act all snobby now.
There is an M3 and what looks like a Range Rover in the garage.

I wish I would have thought about this idea. I think it would be cool to watch my baby being borned...too late for this one, but maybe next time.

I think the bike mentioned was actually a K12, not a K13

Had the pleasure of watching my new 2012 Ducati Multistrada Touring S, in Race Titanium Matte paint, uncrated. Took it on it's maiden run yesterday, and WOW, what a machine. Absolutely electric power, ohlins/brembo from the factory, and fully electronic everything. Love it. Never ridden a more powerful and fun bike in my life. After the ride my wife asked me what I thought of it. The most descriptive word I could find was "thrilling".
Three words: Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous.

I have bike ADD
I know of someone in Austin who has the same affliction.....
When I bought my Concours 14 a month ago the only one they had was still in the crate, kind of strange but exciting seeing it in there like that.
Congrats

Life is too short for one T-shirt
Variety is the spice of life
Someone has to purchase the bikes new so others can afford to ride great used bikes.
This is probably a good indication of how smitten he is because he usually buys used and is usually all rational and stuff.

This bike is the reason that 6 weeks after I get home from Iraq/Kuwait (after a year) I'm turning around and heading to Afghanistan for another year. When I come home I'll have enough saved up to be able to buy one.
Some things are just worth the risk.
