Price too high? There's around $1k worth of extras thrown in. And I added the word "negotiable", which means "wave money in my face and I may come down on the price." Or maybe you don't want all the extras; I can sell them separately if it means making a sale on the bike soon.  Bigsmile

I think you are fighting two issues. #1 is the mileage. While that engine will easily run past 100K, there are many VFr's out there with alot less miles for similar money.

#2- age. While it isn't ancient, it is approacing 14 years old. To alot of people, that is just too old.

Since it is a VFR and not a CBR etc, the market is limited, so the typical squid won't be interested. The more mature rider who is interested probably plans to put a decent amount of miles on it, and that puts you up against it mileage wise.

Not to mention accessories add about $0.  Strip them off and sell them off separately.  You'll be way ahead money wise.

Probably priced OK.  So what you have is a $2500 dollar motorcycle which you have already saved the new buyer from having to get tour ready.   Bigsmile  The touring goodies will go quickly if you offer the bike w/out for a lower price.  I might be interested in the side racks.  Bags always go fairly quickly too.

Probably the mileage scaring people off.  And way too many people don't know how awesome an all-arounder bike that is.  It's a shame.

Maybe pictures of wheelies and burnouts will help it sell.  Smile

Priced fine but not many people bike shop mid summer. Id buy it if I didn't have 10 tons of baby crap to buy. I want another one as a touring bike.

Yeah, I wish I had time to get it ready to sell over the winter, especially after I bought my new Versys in January. Maybe if I part-out the extras, the lower price on the bike itself might move it. Thanks for the feedback, everyone!  Bigok

I don't like payment plans either, but I trust these people. I kind of need all the money right now, but I haven't had any other serious inquiries, so I gotta take what I can get.  Sad
