OEM pad wear on SV650

I just checked the pads on my SV. They are the original, and getting low at 8,500 miles ( also ride another bike, reason mileage is low).

Is this typical?

The dunlop d220s were shot at around 1800 miles, so I'm thinking it's just that they're cheap stuff. I have galfer pads for replacements. There's between 2-3/32" before the squealer touches the rotors.

I replaced my front OEM pads at 12k miles. Bike is now at ~25k miles and the EBC replacements are ~50% or so.

Still on OEM pads after 27500 miles. Have a set of Galfer pads in the shed for 2 years but the originals are still going strong.

Probably put the new pads on this winter when I put on the SS dual brake lines (also sitting around in the shed for about 12 months).
