I know this is early, but if any of you plan on going, I figured this topic could serve as a meetup.  Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I'll be there.  $40/person for all three days is a great deal and this is one of the biggest motorcycle-affiliated swap meets I've ever been to which, for me, is worth the price of admission alone.  If this year is anything like ones in the past, it's definitely worth the trip for the auction and sheer amount of bike parts and whole bikes for sale.  Maybe this trip we can meet up at a restaurant where we can actually hear one another!   Crazy Smile

My daughter and her husband are talking of going and they might drag the old man along. My son in law has several vintage Japanese motorcycles and when he shows them he usually gets some award, which he did in Saint Augustine just recently. I do know under the vintage circumstances it is a trailer for the bikes.

Gonna try and make it this year for at least a day or two. Anniversary is 10/6 and we always go on a trip that week. Wish we would have gotten married in February  Rolleyes

Does anyone know the time of the Century Race. I have looked on the website, but the link for the schedule just takes me in a circle without saying anything.

I want to say it's always held in the afternoon on Saturday. Probably like 3 or 4 p.m.

I live right down the road, relatively speaking, from Barbers.  I will prob roll out there for a day.  I take it for granted since it is in the back yard....but it is a world class facility worth of respect and awe.

Too bad we can't coordinate a time/place to meet for an informal st.n meet/greet.  Anyone interested????

I am new to this forum, it would be fantastic to meet some of you lugs in person.  Upset I missed on on the NC ride that was done this past month.

I will be taking the wife and kids. The wife has been interested recently in classic Triumphs so she should enjoy this.

Can anyone comment on whether the Ace Cafe upgrade is worth it?

I see no reason we couldn't coordinate a time/place for a ST-N meetup.  Thumbsup

I'll probably ride over Saturday morning with my ZRX-riding buddy Paul (and possibly some other ATL folks) and MAYBE stay overnight or ride back that night.

I have been for the last three years and will be going again this year. Not sure of day/days and times yet, trying to get everyone on the same page. I am south of Atlanta so if anyone in the area has times set in stone let me know and I will see if I can get  our times to match up or maybe meet at a time and place once at Barber.

As far as getting together, how about Friday or Saturday night at Momma Goldberg's Deli in Trussville?  I did a lot of reading on Urban Spoon and several people recommend this place very highly.

What say any of you interesting in meeting up?

A guy I work with just came by my desk and said he won't be able to make it and had a room at the Hampton Inn - closest to the motorsports park.  If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll pass your info along to him so ya'll can work it out.  The room is for two double beds and I think he pad $100, but he can help you with any specifics.

Hey Kurt,  how have you been doing?  I will probably be on the Bandit. I will keep my eyes out for you, I will be there Saturday, other days are still up in the air. Worst case will be a early ride over saturday morning and late ride home that night.

I live in the local area to Barbers (50 miles away) and have not missed a Vintage Festival in the last five years.  This year's was the best yet.  I did more walking around sightseeing and didn't try to make every race and enjoyed the festivities much more.  The attendance on Saturday, was over 70K which was a new record.  I met Scott Russell and Jay Springsteen in the paddocks.  Very good time had by all.  For any of y'all that have not been to the VF or to Barbers, I would highly recommend it.
