I thought I had the last Givi shield.  Thing works really well, huh?   I've been using one since '99.

For $5200, I mean, Jesus someone buy this goddamned thing.   EEK!

Where in NY?  The BB is high on my short list.  If you're leaning towards the touring end I've got an '04 R1150RT that I'll probably be trading out of in the fall or next spring.
But you really need to get your post count up if you want this ad to hang around.

Wow!  Isn't there a bar conversion kit for this bike that makes it sit like a Bandit or FZ1 or something?  That power and those ergos?!?  Kinda dreamy.

Yes, there are a couple straight bar conversions (Jaws and LSL...maybe more?).  I love my Jaws bars...it changed it into a different, even better bike...

Thanks for all the responses.  This has been a difficult decision - it's a great bike, but I'm hoping that an FJR will give me a little more more upright seating position, a little less wind noise and a little longer comfort range.  I know I'll be sacrificing a handling and a lot of power.

If it doesn't sell quickly (like before I change my mind again  ), I'll put a set of LSL handlebars or Convertibars on it and keep riding it for a few more years.  I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell.
