Your killing me here.

Somebody PLEASE buy this bike. I've cut myself off from the outside world in self-imposed exile in an attempt to resist the temptation.  I can think of no logical reason to want this bike so, other than pure, rutting lust.  Their are no roads around here where I can even begin to exploit this bikes reason for being.  The Ontario stunting law will ensure that this bike will cost me the asking price + the $10,000 fine that comes along with it.  Even now, as I sit here and type, I'm already going to be late for work, such is my desire for this bike.

This bike is the hot Russian mail-order bride of the motorcycle world to me.

True.

I started walking down the road of importing the bike into Canada. One of the items is on the list of 'importable' vehicles into Canada. The 2007 Super Duke is listed (it's year specific), the 2008 is not. Basically, if a specific vehicle is not listed it is considered inadmissible.  In fact, no KTM's after 2007 are admissible.  Weird though, you could buy the Super Duke (and all others) in Canada.

Thank god.

Good luck with the sale, that bike is cherry looking.

Bump - cmon scott, you're the closest one to this.  Just buy it already.

PS how do you store this in Brooklyn?  I've been trying to figure out how to keep a bike secure in the city.

I rent out space in a moto friendly metal shop. My bikes are always kept off the street and sipping on tenders during off hours.

Dude... I was thinking of getting a Speed Triple as a second bike, but this Duke looks sweet! You've got me thinking now. Hopefully I can find one closer to me than Brooklyn & about a grand less. Good luck w/ selling this bad ass machine! Cheers

Thanks, Stripes.
1050 S3 and the SD is no contest. The package is that much better on the SD. The stock suspension is excellent right out of the box. Then the Brembo's, Marchesini rims, and chromoly trellis frame ooze handling prowess. As a package it flat out works, and is a way more unique ride. I say this having been a HUGE fan of speed triples, having owned a '99 and an '05.

How's the super duke on the track? Have not sold either of my bikes yet (or even posted ads...I'm always a reluctant seller...) and I'm trying to figure out how to make you a realistic offer...

2006 Sprint 1050 ABS with 16k+, lots of tasteful mods (TOR, HID's, upgraded RR, etc.)? Right side tipover with vertical scratches touched up (but not touched up very well - previous owner). Mechanically great.

I'd have to sell the Daytona for a more useful commuter/every day bike...but it has one more track day in reserve for Sunday, so we'll see!

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the offer, but I already had a sprint 1050. Would like to try something different.
