I heard the best time to ride around in black leather in region two is mid-August, so I decided to do that.

I am going to assault the sensibilities of the coast starting on the 12th or 13th and will be in full panic retreat mode by about the 20th, so I plan on escaping east into the desert where the mobs won't be able to find sufficient numbers of pitchforks or torches to sustain any sort of chase.

I am more heavily invested in paying down my mortgage than in successfully creating a criminal empire of Hunter S. Thompson-themed motorcycle bandits (although now that I see it in writing I will consider that as an option for the future) so I basically will be no fun at all.

And I will have a passenger to serve as a convenient excuse for my failure to perform particularly well as a rider.

But as I told the Region Oners, I am interested in any oddball must-see stops, cool places to camp, ST.Ners seeking revenge for past slights, or hocket brawls, which I am always after.

Also if there are good pies, that would be nice, or cheap breakfast restaurants, or home-cooked baking, or strippers.
