ORDER YOUR CALENDAR HERE!!!!
http://www.cafepress.com/stnsport <--------

Many, many kudos to kneescrubber for taking over and making sure that another quality calendar has been set before you  Clap  Hail

Same set up as the other years, reiterated here for those who are new and those who have a short attention span

- Photos will NOT be pulled from any websites. If you want to submit a photo, you must email it to me. And don't just email me links to your photo-hosting site. I want actual files in my inbox (please)
- Email all photos to dantesdame@gmail.com
- Include the photographer's screen name and where the photo was taken in the email. Do not make me hunt you down
- Send the highest resolution photos you have - seriously. <----- This. Really. Every time. No links to flickr, etc.
- Deadline is October 30th

Photos should include:
- a bike (or part of a bike)
- no easily recognizable people
- some sort of road (this is optional in the dirt version )

Please don't send me photos of your bike in the driveway, or in front of McDonalds; this is about sport-touring. The images should embody what you envision when someone asks "what is sport touring all about?" Something like this:

http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s177/raincitysmoothie/Hwy70.jpg
Road. Bike. Rider.

Once again I'll try and make both a street and a dirt version. It depends on the number and quality of images I get. And once again they'll be printed by CafePress unless someone has a brilliant alternative.

Must photos be from this year?

I missed the submission for the 2012 calendar.  Although I did buy a calendar.  Always buy one.  A must have for the office.

Can I submit photos from June 2011?

Photos should include:
- a bike (or part of a bike)
- no easily recognizable people
- some sort of road (this is optional in the dirt version )

Should photos include ALL of these parameters or some combination? I ride solo almost exclusively. Always have. So including people is a problem for me.

I ride solo also and had a pic accepted for last year's calendar.

This is being sent for this years.

Not sure- Maybe B&W doesn't make a good calendar photo.

Some where near Amish country in PA. This is spartan sport touring. A bike- empty roads, and a single backpack.

No worries. The idea is to convey, um, the idea of sport touring. The fact that there's a bike in the picture generally suggests that there's a rider nearby  Bigsmile

As long as the resolution is good, and there's a bike involved, yes  Razz

I'll send along the appropriate pictures of my bike in front of my house, at the McDonald's and of course, the requisite action shot of it warming up for the commute to work.

Pictures are flowing in!  Please take note of my process:
- see mail in inbox
- move to "calendar folder"
- don't open it until October 31st

That means that I really don't know what I'm getting, what quality it is, or if it "works". I also don't always take the time to even think about who sent it. Therefore, if you don't see a "thanks for sending the picture, JoeBlow!", don't take it personally  Cool  I just hope that come Nov 1st I'm not sending out emails asking who took the picture, etc  Embarassment
