They are and I think we got the only 2 in MD.
Both were at Ellicott City Motorsports. Dealers can't even order them if they don't already have them. We could have gotten 2 '12s from Fredericktown but for not that much more money, I think the FI was the way to go. Fired right up this morning and off I went. Plus I read some horror stories about carbs gumming up quickly with those tiny little jets and we're just not looking to maintain stuff so much as ride stuff.

... and mystery solved. I was wondering the other day if you were planning on bringing out the VFR or the B12 to go dual sporting.

Excellent - looks like fun - missing my 'Tard.
So - how did it wheelie?

Thanks. They'll definitely be fun but in a 19 horsepower kind of way.
Since they had 0.0 miles on them yesterday, I haven't flogged it properly yet to see about the wheelie thing. Definitely going to be a finesse wheelie as opposed to the 'tard or even the other 2 of mine. With those, after you figure it out, you think wheelie and wheelie happens. With the 'tard, you didn't even really need to think it, just move the wrist a little and try to look around the dash housing to see where you're going. With these? I'm not really sure yet. I've popped the front up a little just coming out the gate a tad quick so I know it will do it but these things take time. Once I'm out of the break in period (HA!) and have the oil changed for the first time then we'll see what's up.

The Bandit has seen quite a bit of non paved driving and has scored a couple pretty terrifying stream crossings. But I can't wait to get these little things in the woods.

I give you 2 more rides - max.
Even I could loft the 250 ktm dirt bike - it was pretty fun!
Dirt really was a blast - except that whole crashing and broken finger thing....

Truck modified: Tailgate removed, bed liner removed, 6 additional tie down points added, 3/8 inch rubber bed mat added and a test load and unload completed. Bikes were dirt tested at the construction site and on the trails (probably not sanctioned by the HOA ) behind the neighborhood. Guess it's not so horrible that more houses are going in.
Kim did great! We already go into some rocky singletrack, some mud, some difficult to explain soft stuff that's not quite dirt and not quite mulch but a lot of fun to ride in nonetheless. Did a couple passes over a mound of stones, got into some small stacks and some decent sized rocks on the trail. There were a few loamy hills and a couple off camber bits that made for a little puckering. All in all, we both had a spectacular time. We realized that the stich is not the best gear for offroading. Good thing we have that ole backup gear that never sold.
Dormant dirt skills surfaced to add to my fun. At one point, I had initiated a 180 the cool way but wasn't able to right the bike in time so I just rode it out and it turned into a full blown donut before I could bring it back up and head in my intended direction. It probably looked very cool but I was nanoseconds away from just stepping off it.
I'm finding (and being told of) more stuff in MS and AL that will keep us entertained assuming some freakin storm doesn't shut the whole place down.
If not, this is going to be a good vacation.
Bikes are no longer clean...at all.
