Looks like I want to follow your trip.  Thumbsup

Maybe post a few pics here to get people to click your links to an interesting journey.

Let's see. We got three Canadians, one who traveled the west coast of the states, the other two have sold everything and are touring who knows where, some dude on an Italian sex toy slowly making his way across the country to nowhere, a father and son traveling around the country as well as others doing the same thing and now we have you, getting away from it all on an old 3/4 brick from the Motoren Werken. Not a bad summer.   Smile

To me there is no better feeling than leaving NYC.   Lol

Stay safe.  Smile

You went to the Historics? Way cool.  Thumbsup

Ya know, you missed the best part of HWY 1. You should have kept on and traveled north of SF on the road. Maybe next time.

Thanks Blunder. It was actually there the week before Historics (like a warm up day) but it was awesome! I wish I could have gone up further but had time constraints. Next time for sure!  Smile

This is one of the best written trip reports I've read.  Truely enjoyed following it and can't wait to read the rest.

Thanks for the concern everybody. NYC was a mess after Sandy, but I live and Harlem and we were virtually unscathed. I didn't lose power or even internet. Many of my friends were not that lucky. Please keep them in your thoughts...

But I gotta admit, I spend most of my time looking at the food picks.

Maybe that was an expensive steak, but it sure looked like it was worth the ride

Thanks for posting
