not possible, those bikes only go to coffee shops. they aren't really used off road.

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

Not to take away from the bike which is certainly an excellent multi-surface mount, but they put a paddle tire on it and had an an expert rider hop on and ride it in the sand, slowly. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from the vid?  Headscratch

Sort of reminds me of the vids floating around with an R1 with dirt tires mounted on it railing through some offroad trails.  Impressive demonstration of rider skill, but it didn't make me think an R1 would make a great dirt bike.  Bigsmile

Paddle tires in the sand is fun to watch.  One of my favorite GoPro ads feature bikes on paddle tires.

I am going to miss Jonah in this year's Dakar.   Sad

Y'all are clearly missing the point.

Paddle tires = big spray = big fun.  Thumbsup

I'd hit the sand on that thing! That looks awesome Thumbsup

Have you seen Icon's Raiden Files video, there's a pretty nice section of the Triumph 800XC riding in the Oregon Dunes. The video says they are in S. America, but it's all filmed in Oregon. Pretty cheezy storywise, but plenty of great riding action.

Oh, and yeah, I love riding in the dunes  Inlove
