Greetings from Region One. I am leaving Seattle on Monday or Tuesday making my way to the East Coast in a leisurely manner. Is it too late to ride through Estes Park / Rocky Mountain National Park, and/or Montrose to Gunnison, or the Million Dollar Highway? Also looking for free/cheap/safe camping locations, or couches!

Forecat for this coming week is for upper 60s the next few days, then back up to upper 70s by Friday, continuing into the weekend. Passes still open, should not be a problem whatsoever.

Since posted on a Saturday, not sure anybody knows what week 'next week' vs. 'this week,' refers to,
guessing you mean 9-24 ... but we've all thought of this type cross-continental trip.

A short trip report would be cool, thanks

It's Tuesday 9/25.... I'm in Montana. Headed through Yellowstone tomorrow, then either south or east. Depends on my mood. I'm a little tired of the Smoke. Wink.

I missed the thread and it seems you're passing north of CO for your East trip. Will you be heading west on the bike or is it a one-way bike move? Couch space available in Fort Collins CO if you pass through again.

Jump off I-90 and visit some southwest Wisconsin two-lane if you have the time! Head south on the Great River Road along the Mississippi then head east on some Wisconsin fun back to I-90 again.
