Has anyone Motard-ed their WR450. There is a good possibility that a WR450 will be joining my stable soon. Looking into Modding for street use/license plating.
Conversion Kits, Motard Rims etc. Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have not but WR450s are common conversions. Follow the frequent maintenance schedule and you should be very happy. Used Yamaha rims/brakes are pretty easy to find and up to a thousand dollars less than buying brand new. Check SupermotoJunkie.com classifieds or get to know some the supermoto racers in Colorado. They usually know someone with parts for sale. WR will have soft suspension for hard road riding so consider a revalve and/or respring as necessary. Enjoy your grin factory.

Warp 9 has some excellent pricing on wheelsets. They were our choice for the recent SuMo conversion we did on Zed's YZ450. So far, so good!
Motards are fun!
