I'm digging this scoot, but what is the skinny on the supposed 'death rattle' issues?  Or stalling when the clutch is pulled in at speed?

The first 'seems' to be harmonics/loosness of bodywork.
The second - I've seen videos on line - seems to be the injectors inadvertenty cutting fuel flow and/or incorrect valve lash.

Outside the typical internet headless chicken hysteria, what's the real deal here?

Bueller?  Bueller?

I guess an issue I have is people calling a noise a 'death rattle'.
It seems any noise instantly qualifies for this status even if it actually is not a harbinger of impending doom.  Sometimes stuff just rattles.
Are there owners out there who have had a rattle that actually resulted in full on calamity/engine demise?

Patience, Grasshopper. "Honda Guys" are lighting their torches and grabbing their pitchforks. They should be showing up at your door soon.

I was waiting on you...   Razz

Mine makes a little noise, but it's a small engine cranking out lots of RPM's. Actually... the only time I hear the rattle is when I have too much of a load on the engine. A simple down shift and it's good to go.

I haven't had any issues with the clutch. I've got just over 2500 miles on mine in the past few months. Great little bike and great gas mileage.

I heard the CBR250 has a death rattle, a death squeak, a death whisper and a death gong. I would hold out for a left over Panigale. Word is they will be practically giving them away due to magazine comparo results.
