Come an' get it!

In light of our upcoming move to a garageless-Swiss apartment, there's a whole bunch of stuff that has to go  Sad  Some of it is actual good, useful stuff (like battery tenders) and some of it is stuff I'd normally like to have but can't ship (brake cleaner). There will probably be some household stuff as well (some electronics aren't very compatible with the Swiss system). Some items will have a nominal price tag on it, most of it will be free  Bigok

Note that this will be held primarily in the garage, as the house is now listed for sale and there is a chance that a realtor will be showing it. Therefore, dress warmly. We'll have pizza on hand, and I'll light the propane heater (also for sale!!!!) to keep things as toasty as possible. I'm thinking some time between 11 and 3 or so. Nothing's really planned at this point.

This will probably be the last 'get together' I'll hold before we move, too. So - who wants to come?  Bigsmile

Swiss location, all good and such, but... garageless - that's a hard one to swallow.

Like the rest of the bunch, awaiting wonderful trip pix. `luck with the sale/giveaway!

The family and I will be getting home from WDW late the night before. I'd like to go, but I doubt I'll wake up before noon that day.

I wish NJ wasn't so far away from me. I could use some more battery tenders & a propane heater. Good luck w/ your move! Take care. Cheers

I'll be there...

Anyone want some 10w40?  I used to use it in my Yamaha, but it's not the right viscosity for either of our cars.

Be a shame to let good oil go to waste.  You need another Yammi.

If I got back on a two-wheel motorized conveyance, and I would like to, it would probably be on a large-wheeled scooter.  Although my balance is excellent, I never quite got 100% coordinated on the hand/foot controls and not stalling out.  The Aprilia Mana would be a dream bike for me, if it weren't so damn expensive.  I've always had a softspot for the Aprilia Scarabeo 500 ie.

So what is this day looking like for you guys? This storm is rather, shall we say, "disruptive" and I'm not sure if it's affecting anyone's willingness to come over. I don't have many other Sundays to chose from though, unless we hold off until early December.

Thoughts?  Headscratch

I can't promise as yet. I have major money issues, my brother and his family are now moving in with me the day before, and my life is rather based on a chaotic balance of psychotic bitches and too many needs for my time and energies. I'm playing it totally by ear.

Colleen I'd love to come and get a chance to finally meet you, but I've got too many irons in the fire. This hasn't been a good year for f-off time and trips, even short ones.
I'm moving, losing my job, looking for a new one which involves that dreaded resume and begging for recommendations and such.

It's just not a good time of year for me.

Good luck with your sale + hopefully some other time, some way or place. Good luck with your new move and I'm totally
envious of your heading off to Switzerland. That would be a long-time dream of mine come true.

I'm probably not going to be haunting STN all that much in the near future, but I'll be sure to stop in and say HI if I can.
