I rode my '09 C14 to Orlando on Friday and traded for a used 2011 S3, 3900 miles full Arrow exhaust PC5 and other goodies.  Rode it 300 miles back to Savannah and was a whupped puppy.

Got up this morning and changed out the handlebars to something I already had and took it out for a 130 mile back roads test and man I love this bike.  The bars made a lot of difference.  This bike handles like it is on a rail and has more power than I need, I didn't really say that   Lol 0k it has a lot of power and is fun as hell, now I need to head to the mountains soon

Thanks I would think the S3 is easier to work on than the Duc

S3 was the bike that made me want to learn to ride. Someday, I will own one. Congrats!

They totalled it. I have to send them the title & then they will come pick it up.

C14 to a Speedy? Quite a change!  Bigok  Just curious, what did the bar change accomplish-- higher, lower, closer, wider......?

About 2" wider each side, a little further back and the same height.  The wider bars makes flicking this bike a lot easier.  Bigok  I had Spiegler LSL superbike setup on my C14 and the S3 uses the same "fat bar" that was on the LSL.  My C14 was pumping out 150 HP and 97ftlb of torque so it wasn't a slouch for speed, but 200+ pounds heavier.  The map on the PCV was a "canned" Triumph map for the Arrow full exhaust, but I am going to take it to KWS motorsports in charleston and have a custom map made fo the bike.

Download tune ecu, it's free. Buy the right cable and have your dyno person save the tune right to your ecu. Then sell the pcv on eBay.

Thanks for the information.  Right now it runs great so "if it ain't broke don't fix it" By the time I paid a turner to do as you suggest I would probably break even.

I am loving my S3 also, I put 2000 miles on it the first month I owned it and took it to the mountains in North Ga. This bike is fun to ride and not bad on the interstate either.

Even if you don't change the tune tune ecu is also a diagnostic software. You can read error codes change the temp that the fans turn on, adjust the speedo for error or a change of gearing. It's very handy free software.
Interstate travel will giv you very strong neck muscles!
Enjoy

I am finding that interstate travel give me strong muscles bwtween my shoulder blades, man the first few rides I hurt like hell there.  I got a laminar lip screen on my fly screen and that works pretty good, or so it seems in the 10 miles I have tried it out.
