Considering they say for medium to high activity, I'd say they wouldn't work well on a motorcycle.

Sorry for the delay Ken, I haven't had much time to check the forum lately.
My wife tried out a pair and like them. But knowing that she get's cold very easy (and she did get cold wearing these on a chilly ride) I don't have a real good gauge yet on how they perform over standard thermals.
Riding season is over here in the Northeast (salty roads) so I may not get a chance to try them myself until spring.
Wish I could be more help.

I think the key attribute to focus on for these is the temperature rating. These are built for very cold to extreme cold temperatures. The activity rating is more for how well the garment wicks away moisture when you sweat in them.

I must have missed the temperature rating. The only thing I see is an arbitrary rating of cold. Since the riding season isn't ever over here and there is already salt on the roads i guess we have differing opinion of cold.
