Ive logged right at 70,000 miles between a Yamaha R6, FZ1 and ST1100 over the past few years. Ive been exclusively on dirt bikes for the past couple years but just bought a 2013 Ninja 1000 and love it. It seems like the perfect mix of the 3 street bikes Ive owned prior.

Nice Ninja!  Are you gonna add luggage to make it a sport-tourer?

Only soft luggage.

Don't have any more "pose" pics of it. Only of mods I've done. I'll get some more next time the weather breaks enough to ride.

I've wanted one since they came out, just couldn't get on with the color offerings. I'm really digging the white though.

Only soft luggage.

It was a great bike, I enjoyed it a great deal.

For day to day riding, I left the rear seat off and the cowl in place

Held makes a great tailpack that I left strapped to the rear seat for road trips - swapped it for the cowl when I needed the space.

Looks like it needs some flashing red and blues and a siren.

Nothing wrong with the hard luggage.  The Givi cases have been mostly waterproof.  A couple drops inside during hurricane season.  Much better than the absolute crap my Guzzi Stelvio came with, which I would empty out a pint out of each case every day it rained.

Downside to the hard luggage is the stock signals don't work and when removed, you still have the the case mounting frames to look at, even when the quick release parts are removed.  My tail is apart now because my CustomLED integrated taillight crapped out.  Removed and ready to send back for warranty repair. Haha, I actually like the white/black "cop looking" color scheme. A few days ago I took a trip (with black soft luggage) and had several cars on the interstate roll up on me in the fast lane and hit the brakes and camp out just in my blind spot for a bit and then speed up and pass, and I could see them looking over at me out the corner of their eye lol. I was laughing my arse off.

Do they offer all white? Or would you have to swap with someone with the opposite paint scheme?

This is the first color combo they've offered with white in it, in the US at least, so there are no others to swap out with. The white and black both have metal flake in it.

I think swapping the black mods for the silver mods would look really good too.

Sweet bike.

Love the "police" theme. Toss on some flashing lights and clear the road with it. Smile

I have a 2012 N1K. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic motor. The rest of the bike is pretty dang good too. Love it so far!

I had a Ninja 1000 and the ONLY reason I sold it was to get my dream bike, the Griso SE in Tenni Green.

There are many threads on Ninja 1K, and I brag on it any chance I get. It is a fantastic bike.

For what they cost, I don't think you can beat them.  That perfect engine  Inlove

I sold mine with 2k miles in minty condition for $7,500 last year and I miss it.
