OK,  I only went in for a new face shield, honest.

Now, I don't get any motorcycle magazines, so I hadn't seen this before.
But I saw this cute littel Guzzi V7 Racer...sorry for the lousy cell phone pic.

Looks great. It fits me. Only problem is it only has 48 Horsepower. I wonder who makes speed parts for it already??

I hope in some small way this makes up for my other post.

You know, I always liked the V11 Sport.
Ibet I could find one of those for less than 10,000 and it would have more power too....

My eyes also were drawn to the Hyper.   Bigsmile

I'm with you, karlfitt, I too have always liked the V11 Sport.  Currently, my garage is one bike down and it appears I am trending towards a Ural right now becuase the wife really wants me to get one.  But, should her desire to ride in a Ural fade, I find myself drawn to the V7 Stone.   Inlove

What baffles me is why bother with Brembo brakes with otherwise antiquated technology?

Because it's not a UJM.  The technology is there, you just have to look for it.  And the riding experience, acceleration, handling, braking, and even sound, is more important to riders than the spec sheet.

It's ok, they are antiquated Brembo's, only one brake and it's not even radial mounted. It probably stops the bike just fine, but nothing cutting edge.
