I've got one of those lightweight metal shelving units in one corner of my bedroom. It looks fugly but it works.

Fortunately, I am ruthless when it comes to getting rid of old gear. I will sell it cheap or give it away when I'm done with it. So I don't have a ton of stuff.

I built a closet in my basement man cave / computer room for all the jackets pants liners ect. The helmets and gloves, luggage are in the garage in a unit I built there, that way I can select what I take along when I get ready to leave on my preflight       preride inspection  Smile Wink
i didn't have enough room in trth to combine it into one area and this works really well for me so I am happy with what I have done , back in 97 when I moved here.

Between my wife and I we have a ton of gear. She probably has 6 helmets if not more. We have an old cedar wardrobe in a corner of the garage. It's got a drawer in the bottom we use for all the gloves, then hand up jackets etc inside. I also have some hooks on the garage wall so my most used gear gets hung there. A couple shelves over our chest freezer hold a lot of the most used helmets.

Put the shelf on the wall and with the wooden shelves. They hold our Olympia jackets and pants, mesh jackets, Bell RS1's, HJC CL16's boot, gloves, and the soft luggage. Also the GF's bike jeans, new boots & Suzuki leather jacket are squeeze in there now, too.

My Dad and I built some cabinets in when we built my pole barn. Actually the gear cabinet was in and filled before the the inside walls or anything else was started inside.
