He gave us our money's worth every time he went out on track.

And even once when he didn't even make it out of pit lane (sepang 2005)

I'm gonna miss the crazy bastige.

"And it's biaggi up the inside, hard on the brakes, YES, he's through, OH AND HE'S WIDE, he's lost two places and he's got it all to do again!"

Ah, bummer. I enjoyed watching him race.

Visor Down is saying that Sylvain Guintoli is rumored to get the ride. I'm good with that.

Mad Max was one of the fun ones to watch. Sad to see him go.

Ill definitely miss Mad Max.

Guintoli?  Meh.  This explains him walking out on a deal with Crescent Suzuki.
I think Max really left Aprilia in bad shape waiting until November to announce this.  He's already ridden the bike in the first post-season test for chrisakes.  I understand that Max may have just made up his mind but Aprilia could definitely have had some better talent on that bike if he'd figured this out earlier in the year.

I'm going to miss Max too.

That would have been a sweet ride for Ben Spies to latch onto had it been available during silly season.

Bummer. Liked watching him race...

Probably going to spend the majority of his time in bed with his lady. I would...

The unrelenting drumbeat of rumors that Moto Guzzi will compete in WSBK most likely contributed to his decision.
