Seems like, in my opinion, there are not many dealers anywhere.  Buddy with a Tre K and a Sport EVO having very hard time finding a dealer to get work done (or find replacement parts).

In Europe it will probably sell.  HP is not that relevant over there (at least relative to here).

My wife's SFV650 only makes 66hp - still plenty fun if you ask me.  I think 80hp is pretty good for this class of streetbike.  It's not gonna be Street Triple territory, but 80hp is the same as claimed for the Monster 696.  The reason people won't buy it is because of the dealer network.  http://www.benelliamerica.net/dealer.html

I wonder if this BN600 will be made in Italy?  I sort of like the design.  I'd try one if there was a dealer around.

My /5 gets 80hp at best. Yes, it's been modified. But at 80hp, in that frame and suspension, it is an absolute handfull on the track. The motor will definitely overcome the chassis and suspension in a NY minute.

That is when the real fun begins.  Wink

Nice lookin' bikes, IMO.  I really like the TreK Amazonas... I remember seeing one on ADV a while back for pretty cheap.

Allegedly there's a dealer in Escondido, which is near me, but their website shows not bikes in stock, and makes no mention of being a dealer at all.  I'll be they dropped the line.

If a company doesn't even have a good dealer south of LA, I can't imagine I take them too seriously.  The only ones with a worse dealer network must be motus.   Lol

38 ft/lb of torque at 10,500 rpm which means you have to flog the throttle like a 2 stroke weed eater (i.e. it's full throttle all the time or nothing in result), 4 cylinder Japanese knock off made in China or at least controlled by them, with no dealer network. Bleh Thumbsdown

Most 600's are in the 44 foot lbs. of torque around that same RPM.  Maybe just has a wider range on bikes like the CBR600.

Heck, don't knock it until you've at least read the test reviews.

It’s like putting a Ferrari badge on a Hyundai.

But I have to admit that Benelli has always left me cold.  They have nice design but they have so many little problems that I would never spend the money.  So maybe the Chinese can improve that.  But who will spend big money for Chinese machine.

We will sit back and see.
