Honda grows some cojones? I like it, but it's still way too big.

GL1800 owners have been asking for a removal trunk for years - a couple have even done so with their bikes. This one doesn't shed all that many pounds, but loses the reverse for some reason.

Pretty.
I predict they'll steal more than a few HD and Polaris sales with it, and even more if they returned production to the U.S.

Not really. Weighs less than an Electra Glide and the Street Glide is what, 60 lbs. different?

Can you get an exhaust that's not whisper quiet, so it sounds a little tough, like a Harley?

I don't know if they're still around, but one was offered back in the early years of the GL1800. It sounded ok, but I'd rather hear the stereo and the voices in my head.
Humph, couldn't find the Alley Cats, but V&H makes one now.

It's obviously trying to relate more to the cruiser-dresser class of bikes, but it does so with nice modern lines. My Wing riding dad said - "Looks like they finally made a Gold Wing for you now, too." Nope!

I rode both a new Goldwing and new Streetglide in 2010. The Goldthings seating position had me really crammed onto the bike. The Harley was nice and relaxed. Both look good. Both are respectable rides providing a completely differant take on touring. To each their own, but I would prefer the Harley and I am usually biased towards Honda (yes I know I am retarded
