I like how the Deluxe comes with heated grips, a centerstand and a backrest for an additional $1000.
You do need a very strong centerstand to hold up a Goldwing. Those cost.

I predict they'll steal more than a few HD and Polaris sales with it, and even more if they returned production to the U.S.
I predict they will steal zero sales from HD

That's like saying I'd rather be hit by a little-league aluminum bat instead of a Louisville Slugger.

Me too. I really like it.
Undoubtedly heavy, but audio and a smooth drivetrain that'll last forever. Sounds good to me. For 20 grand there are other bikes I'd rather have for now, but not an HD, and certainly not a single car. I do see the appeal. I like the road glide, but this tops that.
I wonder if the seating position is the same as the standard Wing...

I love it. It's so over the top in every way, very much large and in charge. I've tried the V-twin cruiser thing but never fell in love with the vibey tractor feeling. This here F6B would make an excellent platform for cruising the countryside quietly and comfortably.

The typical buyer is going to be a current or former GL1800 owner who rides solo most of the time; and not very far.

Out here in the wild west big ass sleds like that sell in LARGE numbers. This is still America, despite increasing fuel costs, years of recession, BIG still sells. Tons of trucks, full size SUVs on the road, and the F6B will fit right in.
