I don't think the riders are making MotoGP boring. Low fuel and a lot of electronics means reduced ability to ride around setup/worn tires, leading to a lot of processional races. That said, Pedrosa provided at least a couple of entertaining races at Brno and Valencia, the latter win from pit lane being just as or more impressive than Marquez' win from the back of the grid.

Marquez's aggression will need to be moderated -- he was obviously the class of the Moto2 field, but if he puts similarly hard moves on MotoGP veterans in his first year, he's going to get slapped down, either by the riders or by Race Direction.

Rossi, Marquez & Crutchlow on the podium in Qatar imo

Can I take the other side of that bet?

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

Without the injury at Mugello, I think it was still less than 50-50 Rossi was going to beat Lorenzo in 2010.

Then there was the Ducati debacle, which no matter how you cut it, Stoner made Rossi look foolish as a result.

I think it's entirely possible that with the passing of years, Rossi has lost his edge. If he was riding against Biaggi or Gibernau, maybe the chances of a strong comeback would be good, but I think Lorenzo and Pedrosa have got too much experience under them to be pushovers like previous opponents.

Lots of shake up and drama.  Marquez looks damn good.  Hope he rides smarter than Simoncelli.

I predict some epic battles for third between Marquez, Rossi, and Crutchlow with Lorenzo and Pedrosa clearing off at the sharp end.
