Nice compilation for the vid  Thumbsup

I've always wanted to do that... some day.

Once you're into a nice turn, how much throttle are you at?

the throttle is your friend, depends on the snow conditions, if the snow is deep, lots of throttle, WFO Bigok they have 160 hp may as well use it, if the snow is light then a little more finesse is required

Pretty sweet conditions for this time of year !  That does not look like the same sled you had last year?  Headscratch  Track looks longer.

Looks like a dump of snow coming your way just in time for the weekend. I drove back from Kelowna yesterday and the xcountry on the Paulson is open with a good 2 feet of snow up there and I heard Red Mt is opening on Dec 8.

Nice stuff !  Bigok

<<<<<<  I have been practicing too !

Same sled with some polite modifications Smile

Fernie is opening Saturday so Mrs. Alphabet and I are heading there and then some Alpine touring Sunday with a buddy, hopefully it  doesn't warm to much and rain Sad

I tried riding a snowmobile in snow like that once. After about 5 minutes, the remainder of my day included a shovel and much swearing. Of course that was in the day of regular sized tracks.

Since then I have opted to spend my snowmobile money on sandy destinations. Wink

We have put the equivalent of a new sled every two years into our family holidays to the sun. Could not manage to do both realistically. My goal is to get back on the slopes after years of knee issues and I think this is the year. One must not peer out at winter, you gotta participate. Having said that, we are booked in March to Hawaii. Not my first choice but my daughter grads this year and she has always wanted to go. Fortunately, there is a new airline flying out of Spokane and direct to Honolulu. A super no frills airline and we have seats booked for $415 return and all taxes in. And I booked us a great deal on a beach front hotel and car rental to go explore the north shore and Makaha. A few weeks of sun in March is a wonderful thing to look forward to.

Till then, I am hoping for a rise in the freezing level and get some country and ultimately some downhill later on.  Thumbsup
