On my last Tuono, I bought a one off top case rack that fixed to the bike instead of the rear seat, with a bracket to hold the subframe and a seat pin to lock it in.

Short of trying to build one myself, anyone have any suggestions on building one?  The one I had was 2 layers of wood with a Givi adapter plate bolted on, with the seat pin and bracket bolted on the bottom.

What do you think?
