Anyone up for a long ride this weekend? Possible overnighter
«

I have a break from the girlfriend this weekend, she is flying home to Cleveland to be with her very ill grandmother.
Anyway.. I get off work Friday at 6 AM, and don't return to work until Sun 10 PM.
I am willing and motivated to cover some distance and don't really mind where I end up, up to 500 a day probably. Leaving out of Orange County, some good possibilities would be: Death Valley, Kings Canyon area, Monterrey, Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, Joshua Tree, you name it...
I wouldn't mind doing an overnighter and would sponsor a hotel stay. Or camp somewhere in the desert.
Anyone interested in meeting along the way or joining along give me a shout back. I will likely be on my Blackbird.

I would be all over this but I already made promises to family this weekend.
The weather promises to be excellent (but cold) everywhere. If you're free again on the weekend of the 22nd/23rd I'm planning on going somewhere far for a day(not sure where yet).
