I got a chance to ride this bike at the Oz importer a few days back and have written a review which I've posted on a few boards. Can't be arsed to C&P it all again but if people are interested its all here.

That's a hell of a wright up!
I am not a fan of cruisers but for some reason i like this bike more that i thought i would. I hope to put a leg over her someday soon just to have the fun. Thanks again for the link.

Fully understand. Carrying all those bits by hand can get tiring.

Thanks, Pete!
I had already read you report on other forums and actually re-read it when posted here. Got a bit more out of it the second time.
I, like you, enjoy more of a sporting ride (you called them "a proper road bike" I believe when referring to your Griso) and was a little disappointed this new Cali was not a step closer to good handling and performance than it's predecessor was. But that said, I understand where Guzzi is going with it and wish them much luck and big sales.

Just put me back up on the bike.

Good overview, thanx for posting it.
I definitely like the styling, though it has a real deficit in practicality (no center stand, cramped seating).
I bet it's a winner for MG just the same.

Thanks Pete!
The cramped seating has me a sad panada at 6'3"
I sometimes have issues on the Norge even!
But I saw a mention about a revamp of the LeMans...things that make you say hmmm...
