I sold my Guzzi... :(

As the title says, I've sold my Griso recently and I'm Guzzi-less at this time.   I must say, it's a very dark day in a persons life when they sell something they really do love. You can't help but think that you're making a huge mistake.   Best damn bike I've ever owned in 35 years of riding and 350,000 miles later on various bikes.
 


The upswing is it's going to be replaced with another Moto Guzzi. When I nail down all the particulars, I'll post up the what, where and when. If/when I get this handled, it will be shipped across the country so the waiting game will begin.

Nope, neither of those... Well it's bought and paid for but I have to wait about a month before it ships from Seattle to Va.  I'm still waiting on sort of decent pics to post.

I sold my Griso to purchase a 2012 Griso SE Tenni. MG changed up their selling process by not stocking US warehouses with too many bikes. So finding a Tenni would be almost impossible as they are sold out across the country as near as I could tell.

I used a craigslist search engine so I could seach the entire US and a used one popped up at Moto International in Seattle. Anyone globally that knows squat about MG knows Dave at Moto Int'l in my opinion. So I called him and asked what the story is about this bike.

This motorcycle was purchased new from Moto Int'l by a fellow just as he was dianosed with cancer.  He wanted the bike anyway, thinking it would be good theropy. He only got to ride it once and has since passed. Moto Int'l was helping by offering the bike for as a no-commision consignment. Really sad but I sincerely hope the fellow enjoyed the one ride before he left this world...

10 miles on her and bone stock, the beautiful Tenni is headed to Virginia.

Do you know the fellow that owned this bike. My wife is from Seattle and we go once a year to visit her sister and I would luike to drop by and pay my condolences to him.

No, just got my Guzzi from that shop and have their shop friended on Facebook. He pasted a quick blurb about this bike. Amazing dealership btw....

This bike was in Moto International a couple of weeks ago and I spent some time talking to Dave about it.   Essentially a new bike that was the original owner's pride and joy.  I'm glad you wound up with it, Eric!  

The Griso with the 4 valve heads is the best Guzzi ever.       (Not that I don't love my 1200 Sport).

If they are still using Motorcycle Shippers via JC Motors you can save three or four days on the delivery time by picking up the bike at the transport hub they initially deliver the bike to for local delivery.  I took trains and buses down to the City of Industry to pick mine up and saved four days - plus I got to ride her home  

You're gonna love that bike.
