Looking at options for the KLX, need some decent long mile sitting comfort as I'm inclined to ride to the good stuff... trip to NV last Sept changed how I walk forever. The 1000 miles we did off road once there was fine, but the road miles to/from fucking sucked.

Looking at the Sargent, they do an interesting and unique thing by building on a widened pan, makes sense on paper... anyone here apply some butt metrics to this theory?

I've tried Seat Concepts on the DR, was underwhelmed at best. Know some locals who also like the XPC, and I can buy that for the cost of a seat concepts. Not a big Corbin fan, and I'm not to hip on Renazco.

What says ye?

I can't speak specifically to the KLX, but I've had two Sargent's - one on my DL650 and one on my GSX650F. In both instances they meant the difference between a day of pain, and a day of bliss.  Thumbsup

There will be one going on my DRZ in January as well.

OK, but neither of those would have been built on the extended pan they make for dirt/DS bikes. I know folks who have had Sargents on multiple bikes and said their range of experience was from good to shit from bike to bike, so I want to know about experiences specific to this widened pan design.
