Danny Eslick has signed with Michael Jordan Motorsports for AMA Superbike. He replaces BBoz on the #23 bike and will team up with Roger Lee Hayden.

I haven't heard if Ben is going somewhere else. If this is the end, it was a great run.

Really great news about Eslick. Herrin was stepping it up on the Graves superbike during the last half of the season. I think Herrin and Eslick will have some more epic battles and will have something for Hayes.

In other news, Young is supposedly out at Yosh per today's Cycle News online.

I heard an interview with Bboz recently and it didn't sound like he was ready to hang it up yet. Hopefully he can find a decent ride somewhere.

Ben's thoughts on the matter: http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=50522

Cardenas has supposedly signed with Yoshimura but due to still being under contract with JU till years end it won't be announced until after the new year.

BY79 is rumored to have possible rides in  WSBK, BSB or DSB.

It would be nice to have a 'Murcan to root for in WSBK. I don't know if there are any good seats left, but there or BSB would give him a better stage to show his talent.

Can't blame Yosh for wanting Cardenas.

I guess this is the default 2013 AMA Pro Road Racing thread.

Ray Blank finally retires and Honda offers a nice contingency package in AMA Pro Road Racing and a bunch of club racing programs. Coincidence? Also rumors abound about a Honda return to AMA racing on some level.

Cardenas is probably my favorite rider in the AMA series.  I'm also parital to the Yosh and M4 teams.  So that is good news.  It's just fun to watch him race.  He lets it all hang out there all the time.  He reminds me of watching Ben Spies when he was racing AMA.  Now if Spies could just get some confidence back.....

13x forums lit up the last few days about John Ulrich switching to Honda and running Zemke in Superbike. Here's hoping. Honda coming back into the fold would be great for the series whether you like Big Red or not...

No news yet on Superbike but Dane Westby will be racing a CBR600RR for Geico / Chris Ulrich Racing in 2013 DSB...

Heard an interview with Blake Young on Pit Pass Radio where he announced that he had came to an agreement to ride Richard Stanboli's Attack CRT effort at the three American MotoGP rounds this year. Beyond that he said he might have a deal in place to run the Daytona 200 but that would be it for AMA this season...

Blake needs to get out of the US and into some other series for international exposure. I think he could do well, probably depends on the machine.

He said he had offers from some good BSB teams but thought he was set with Yosh for 2013 after their post season tire test at Daytona. A few weeks later he found out otherwise but by that time the doors had closed on the previous offers.

Cardenas is going back to Moto2 with Ulrich's blessings and BBoz was rumored for a Pedercini Kawasaki seat, but that place was taken. AMA silly season is a late bloomer.

Wait a minute -- I thought Martin got the Yosh seat and that was why Young is unemployed.   Headscratch
