The RT is a fantastic bike, but the standard boxer with bags and a shield is IMO the best sport-touring platform in the lineup.

Though I may be a bit biased.  Wink

My ST is 100 pounds lighter then a RT.  Other then the somewhat polarizing front end I think it's perfect.  Smile

MCN which actually weighs the bikes as opposed to taking the manufactors at their word got 523lbs wet for the R1200ST and 625lbs wet for the R1200RT.  That's where my comment came from.
