I live around the Charlotte NC area and was wondering if there are any Sport Touring clubs around that area.

MSTA.....Motorcycle Sport Touring Association

A NATIONAL organization, with a very active North Carolina chapter and many members in the area.  Several "regional" events in the area as well....the national event..STAR...is in Lexington, Ky this year.

Now FF... don't be shy. Those quarterly guided rides to all the best roads, as well as the get togethers at the finest drinking establishments where you buy the first rounds, certainly get you my nomination for 2013 President of the Southern Appalachian Sport-Touring Society.

In accordance with SASTS bylaw section 3.A.ii, please let us know by the 15th day of the month when and where the next event will be held. I look forward to the 1Q13 event!

Bylaws?
First one is AETR (any excuse to ride) Now if we can just have a winter like the last one. Hopefully it will warm up soon and rain for a day or so in order to wash all the salt and sand off the roads
