Santa brought me a new windscreen for my bike!  Banana It's a V-Stream, for my 2007 DL650 Wee Strom. I'd read good reviews about the V-Stream so figured I'd give it a try. WHY HAS IT TAKEN ME 6 YEARS TO DO THIS???  Lol After a quick installation, I took it out for a spin. Got the bike up to 60mph, and it was dead calm in the cockpit---SHWEET! Way better for winter riding. (I commute on the bike year-round---except when there's snow and ice on the roads, which isn't often around here anymore.)

While riding at 60mph, I felt around the edges of the screen to see where the airstream was going. Totally deflected out beyond me on both sides, and the airstream coming off the top of the screen went well over my helmet (by at least an inch or two). My sightline on level ground runs through the top of the screen about an inch below the edge.

Here are some pics I took, including a couple comparos with the stock screen. For $160, one of the best mods ever!  Bigok

Whoa that made me laugh out loud.

Although the strom is not the most attractive bike in the first place and I am a big fan of function over looks anyway.

Lol Yeah, it's definitely a barn door...and I noticed a bit of "sail" action in strong wind gusts...but it's still awesome not to have my face freeze-molded into a grimace from the blast in winter.  Thumbsup

Do you notice any back pressure from the wind?

Hey---sorry for the delayed response. Not exactly sure what you mean by "back pressure." If you mean feeling my head/torso being pulled back, no, don't notice a thing. The V-Stream website has this diagram:

...and from what I've experienced, the diagram is pretty accurate---I don't feel much of anything at all around me---no buffeting, nothing. So their design seems pretty good.

Back pressure is a condition with larger screens where it feels like you are being pushed from behind.  It looks like there is enough of a gap under the screen to prevent that from happening.
