Do you mind me asking how much it cost?  I was in a BMW store today (dropping some money on new leathers  Bigsmile) and saw a 2005 in great shape.  It had 3 bags (side panniers and top case) and a handful of options.  This one had about 35k miles on it, and they were asking $9,999

63k miles, lots of upgrades (ohlins, Rick Meyers seat, tons of lights, all three bags, etc). I paid $6k from an ADV member (Lawn Dart found it for me)

The new ride didn't happen to ship from Virginia, did it?   Headscratch

If so, I know the prior owner and the bike, and know that you got a heck of a deal.   Thumbsup

Congrats, ksann.   Thumbsup

Kids falling asleep on the back are a nightmare for me.  It's hard to hold onto a slouching body and the controls at once!  Good luck.

Luckily it has a top speed less than your old BMW.....

Congrats Ken! I'm extremely happy for you and look forward to tearing up the pavement sometime.
