Ah who knows...

Buy some bikes... sell some bikes...  something nice and new would be great!

I'd love to take a nice, long trip - we'll see about that.

Other than the group rides around the Midwest I have one big trip planned. My cousin's daughter will be graduating from High School in North Carolina. I plan to attend this. Along the way I plan on seeing an old dear friend near Raleigh. Then travel the Blue Ridge Parkway from Virginia on down to Deal's Gap. Ride the Dragon and take the back roads through Tennessee and Kentucky on the way home.

Let's see... 1. Finish the restoration on my Norton. 2. Ride to WV for the R6 Spring Meet w/ mxvet. 3. Ride out to MA for some kayaking w/ Mr. Black. 4. Ride to ME for the annual MEME Rally. 5. Spend a couple of weekends riding in southwest WI w/ TheRedOnesAreFaster. 6. Put at least 20,000 miles on the GT. 7. Purchase a Ural w/ a sidecar. 8. Do some riding w/ my Dad. 9. Ride in CT & RI w/ Ridux. 9. Possible Iron Butt Rally w/ D-Mac. 10. Purchase new summer gear. 11. Visit the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. 12. Moto GP (venue undecided). That's about it for the moment!

DC IMS show next Friday just to kick the tires, and to look at new helmets- a 5 day solo ride around Lake Michigan in June, more day trips with the wife on back (bought her new riding boots for Christmas), hopefully a weekend ride to meet some of the folks from R6
Minor upgrades to the C14 - also saving for trip with the wife in '14 to Laguna Seca for either MotoGP or WSBK and a 10 day solo CC ride back.
Something to look forward to over the cold winter.

I will keep my bike in Italy.

Whether I can afford as many trips on retirement wages remains to be seen  EEK!

Plus I have pent up desire to do some traveling in the US and Canada.

Rides... purchases... material upgrades / maintenance to bike... competition?

What big things do STN members have planned for 2013?

Scrape together enough money to attend the National ( doubtful)  Attend at least two other STN events. Hope that I can scrape together enough to keep both bikes on the road this year all year ( unlike last year) Dream about what new bikes I want to own but can not afford , I need a new car first and thats down the money road

The upside I WILL do more local day rides than last year, I just wasn't able to allocate time in the 7 day a week work insanity.

Get another bike. And then, who knows? There's a nice Tbird Sport going fairly cheap not so far away....but it depends on the job situation.

I'm trying to make this the year I ride either Beartooth Pass or Hwy 1.

I'm also overdue for some my 191 goodness on the AZ-NM border as I haven't ridden that since '04 or so.

+1! Let me know when you're down this way.

I've a plan to make it to the IOMTT if I can; all depends on accommodation and finances.

Acquiring a sportbike, early in the year, and Yamaha Champions School (delayed by work & family pressures from this year) in May at Miller. If I'm getting the bike, better learn to ride it!

Oh, and race/track prepping the girl's VTR250 and helping her go racing!

At least one over night motorcycle trip. I'm not sure when or where yet. Maybe the Adirondacks since it's been a couple years since I've been up there.

MotoGP at COTA. I just bought my tickets, I have family in the area and need to be in Austin the following weekend for my in-laws' 50th anniversary party anyway. I get to go to the races for just the cost of the tickets.

I'm going to buy either an after market seat for the Sprint OR a new GPS. I'd like to get both but I'm trying to keep expenses down so I can travel a little more.

I might get around to replacing the fuel pump in the C3.

I may tag along if it's in the budget. Liz has insisted that I, if not we, ride more. And I think she's looking forward to some ride-her-own longer trips.  Inlove

Mods vs Rockers in Dallas, April 5-7.  I've got tickets and lodgings reserved for the inaugural Moto GP at the new Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, April 19-21.  This is the first time I've ever gone to one.  Also working out a route to California to ride the PCH (north to south) in late May.  Works out to a 4000+ mile round trip from Texas.

Still too early for me to plan much.

WCRM looks like a go. Hopefully, I'll have long trip east to ride with my son -- right now, the time is there but not the budget.

In the meantime, I want to make a list of must-do SoCal roads and start checking them off.
