I'm planning a week+ group ride with possibly as many as five riders. The bike-to-bike bluetooth intercom solutions I've seen max out at four bikes. Is FRS radio the only >4 bike solution?

TIA,

RNH

What's wrong with FRS?
Combined with a BT headset it offers low cost,
long range, unlimited number of users and
compatibility across different manufacturers.
Currently, I believe, difficult to do BT only.

I could have swore we had 5 Sena SMH-10's talking together at once on a trip. I might be wrong, but don't think so. I would highly recommend the Sena if this is in fact correct.

I only had one problem with mine. I have the base that allows you to use earbuds. The plug came loose and the wires broke. It looks like the newer units may have addressed this issue.

+1

Use FRS / GMRS with a helmet interface.

this is my hammer. my dad gave it to me. he got it from his dad who got it from his before him. it's been in the family for generations. we've had to replace the handle a few times and the head twice but it priceless because of its family history.

UClear HBC200 can pair 10 or more. Max distance is 700 m. With multi-hops, that distance is multiplied by the number of devices. http://www.uclear-digital.com/HBC200force.php
